• Welcome to JOSEPHINE ASAVA Gnomio site!

    Dear Trainees,

It gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you to this new academic term. As your lecturer for the units Principles of Human Nutrition, Nutrition Care Process, and Human Anatomy and Physiology, I am excited to embark on this enriching journey of learning, discovery, and growth together with you. These units are fundamental to your understanding of the human body, the science of nutrition, and the practice of professional care in health and wellness.

In Human Anatomy and Physiology, we will explore the structure and functions of the human body, understanding how different systems work together to sustain life. Through Principles of Human Nutrition, you will learn about nutrients, their roles, and how they influence health, growth, and disease prevention. The Nutrition Care Process will guide you in applying your knowledge practically — assessing, diagnosing, intervening, and evaluating nutritional needs in both clinical and community settings.

I encourage you to approach your studies with curiosity, commitment, and a positive attitude. Together, we will cultivate not only academic excellence but also professionalism, critical thinking, and compassion — qualities essential for every successful nutrition and health practitioner.

Let us make this term a productive and inspiring experience. I look forward to walking with you as you build a strong foundation for your future career.

    Warm regards,
    Madam Josephine Asava
Lecturer – Nutrition and Health Sciences
